Hello everyone!
I recently bought the Gelid Icy Vision - A to cool my Club3D JokerCard. It was really hard to install it for two reasons: the manual that comes with this cooler is really vague, but the mainly because the JokerCard is a bit strange in that it lays between a Radeon 7870 and the 7950. I couldn't find any help in locating the VRM's. In the beginning I kind of regretted my purchase, but now it works I am glad I took it.

One other thing: I am what most people would call a noob, and this "tutorial" is also written for noobs. I mean, I took hours to find out that the VRM's were under the most obvious place: the only heatsink on the chip. If you are considered to be more experienced than a noob, I will probably annoy you with obvious things. Also mind that English is not my native language, I am Dutch.

Tip 1 - Gelid & JokerCard specific
The Gelid Icy vision comes with a LOT of useless pieces when installing on the JokerCard. This are the only pieces you will need:

- 8x RAM Heatsink A (15x12x5.5 mm) - Note that there are two similar pieces, one is flatter and one has only vertical planes on half of it. You do not need these!
- 4x VRM Heatsink B (14x6x9 mm)
- 8x Thermal pad A (15x12 mm)
- 4x Thermal pad B (14x6 mm)
- 4x Screw A
- 4x Stand off C
- 4x Nut D
- 4x Nut F
- 8x Spacer A

Yep, that's all you need! Just leave the other parts in the bag.

Tip 2 - Gelid specific
When placing heatsinks, I recommend you do it this way:
For RAM you require thermal pad A. Notice that the thermal pad is a transparent piece of plastic, sticky on both sides. First take one entire piece of the strip and stick it on the heatsink. Then peel of the white cover and press it on the RAM for 10 seconds. Use some cloth (can be your t-shirt) to wipe of any dust.
Placing the VRM heatsinks goes in the a similar way. It depends on your VGA, but in the case of the JokerCard you need VRM heatsink B and thermal pad B. First take of the yellow cover, stick the rest on the heatsink and again press it for 10 seconds on the VRM.

Tip 3 - JokerCard specific
If you are a total noob in VGA's, like me, you might have a problem with even finding the RAM (memory IC's). It was even harder for me to locate those sneaky VRM's. The RAM IC's are located around the GPU, the shiny, 45 degrees rotated center square - if you have removed the old thermal compound. You can find four of the black rectangles above it and four of them right of it.

As for the VRM, these are located under the only heatsink. Remove the heatsink by pressing the white pins on the other side. After it is removed, you can see 8 light-grey pieces, in pairs of one small and one long one. (For the gelid users, you will need to put heatsink B on each pair).

So that's the most important I can tell you. Without knowledge it can be a real pain to install the Gelid Icy Vision, but I hope this helps. If it all works out it is a LOT more quiet than the stock cooler, and after all - What is the music of life? (If you didn't catch that one, GET OUTTA HERE AND GO BUY SKYRIM!)
