As I surf along the web I noticed that a lot of people are having the same problem that I had.

The issue is that Razer's USB headset the Megalodons would not detect and just set itself up as an unknown device.

Now I have found two ways around this,

NOTE: I'VE SEEN THIS ISSUE MAINLY ON ASUS MOTHERBOARD.

First: Simple Solution
The simplest way I've come across that fixes this issue is to plug the headset into a separate POWERED USB hub instead of directly into the motherboard. Is it that simple? Yes it is, I have not done any extensive research into why this happens but it has something to do with the USB drivers.

Second: Extreme Solution
If you say, but Mat, I dont have the money to spent on a powered USB hub what else can I do?
Ive also experienced that disabling XHCI (Extensible Host Controller Interface) in the BIOS seems to solve the issue as well. The downside to this solution is that it turns all your USB 3.0 Ports into 2.0 speeds so you lose the data transfer speeds of USB 3.0.

Thank You and Happy Gaming.
