If you have not connected (synced) your Twitter with LinkedIn account, you are required to post the same update on both your profiles individually and separately. On the other hand, your synced Twitter and LinkedIn accounts allow you to post an update on your LinkedIn profile which will automatically post the same update on your Twitter timeline.
Assuming that you have already connected your Twitter account with LinkedIn, here’s how you can automatically post a LinkedIn update on Twitter:
- Sign-in to your LinkedIn account using your favorite web browser.
- Make sure you have already connected your Twitter account with your LinkedIn account.
- On the Home page, under the Share an update field located at the top, type the desired update to create a post.
- Click the Share with drop-down list located under the Share an update field.
- From the available options, click Public + Twitter.
- Finally click the Share button to post the update on both LinkedIn and Twitter accounts.
