While using the Facebook app, you might want to manage the news feeds for your Facebook account in order to allow Facebook to show or hide activities and posts from your friends, pages, or groups. By default every activity from any of your friends, liked pages, or groups is displayed on your Facebook account’s main page.
Here is how you can manage your account’s news feeds to show the activities only from the selected friends, pages, or groups:
- Turn on to your Android smartphone.
- Tap the menu icon to display the apps list.

- From the app’s interface, locate and tap the Facebook app icon.

- If prompted, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields and tap the Sign In button.
- On the home page, tap the more icon (icon with the three horizontal lines) from the top-right corner.

- Once the More interface opens up, under the HELP & SETTINGS section, tap the Manage News Feed option.

- From the Manage News Feed window, if you want to manage friends, under the Friends tab, tap the Following button representing the target contact from whom you do not want to receive notifications anymore.

Note: On the Manage News Feed page, by default Friends tab would be available.
- For managing the pages and groups feed, tap the Friends tab.
- From the available list, tap the desired option (i.e. Pages or Groups) that you want to manage. (E.g. Pages in this demonstration.)

- Under the Pages tab, tap the Following button representing the target page that you want to prevent appearing on your Facebook News Feed. (E.g. Microsoft Azure in this demonstration.)

Note: If you have selected Groups option, under the Groups tab, tap the Following button representing the target group in order to remove the target group posts from being displayed in your Facebook News Feed.
- Once done, go back to the home screen by pressing the back button multiple times from the bottom.
