Step 1
Open iTunes, and then plug your device into the computer using the USB charging cord. iTunes should detect your device and show it in the “Source” list on the iTunes Library sidebar.
Step 2
Select your iPod, iPhone, or iPad from the source list. Select “Podcasts” from the bar at the top of the page. From the new menu, you will be able to thoroughly manage which podcasts from your computer will be synced to your device.
Step 3
Check the “Sync Podcasts” box at the top of the screen. This action will give you a wider range of options as far as which podcasts you choose to sync. For instance, you can sync all of your podcasts, your five most recent podcasts, etc.
Step 4
Once you have made your podcast syncing selections, click “Apply” at the bottom of the screen to actually move all of the podcasts over to your device.
Recap
Podcasts are a great way to engage with a subject you are passionate about or to learn about something you have been curious about for a long time. By taking the simple steps above, you will be able to take all of your podcasts with you wherever you go!
