As a Skype user, you can change the default language from English to anything else as per your personal preferences by choosing your language from the available list.
Here’s how:
- Log on to your computer system.
- Initialize the Skype application by double-clicking its icon.
- On the Sign in interface, click the appropriate option to log-in either using Microsoft account or by your Skype Name.

- Assuming that you are using the Skype Name to log in, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields, and click the Sign in button.

- Once the Skype interface opens up, click the Tools menu located at the menu bar.
- From the displayed list, click Options.

- On the Skype-Options interface, make sure that the General settings category is selected in the left pane.
- Click the Set program language to drop-down list from the right pane.
- From the displayed list of languages, select the desired one.

10. Once done, click the Save button from the bottom to save the changes.
Note: Once you have changed the default Skype language, you can get back to English any time you want by following the same process.
