The Hyperlapse application is an app designed by the creators of Instagram for users to make hyper lapse videos. The results are smooth playing; professional-looking videos shot using just your phone.
Step 1: Download the Hyperlapse application through your phone’s app store. It’s free, so you just have to install it.
Step 2: Once you’ve installed the app go ahead and open it up. Opening the app will open the camera, and you will see a red button on your screen. You can tap this to start and stop recording. To the left of this button you will see how many seconds you have recorded and to the right of the button you will see how many seconds that is when you speed your video up in a time lapse.
Step 3: Tap the button and record as much as you want and tap again when you’re done. Once you do that, you can watch what you recorded and pick a playback speed –anywhere between 1x (normal speed) and 12x. When you decide on a playback speed you like, click the green check mark at the top right of your screen to save your video.
