How to Use Virtual Desktops in Windows 10

Windows 10 allow you to add multiple desktops while using the OS. With the help of multiple virtual desktop windows, it becomes easier for you to work on more than one application simultaneously.

Since many applications require that you use then in full screen mode (otherwise many of their options remain hidden or inaccessible), by adding a couple of virtual desktops on your Windows 10 computer, you can work on many applications simultaneously without minimizing or closing a single one.

Here is how you can add virtual desktops while using Windows 10:
■Log on to your Windows 10 computer with any account.
■On the desktop window, click the Task view icon from the taskbar.

Note: You can repeat step 3 multiple times to add more virtual desktops if you like.
After a virtual desktop is added, although all the virtual desktop screens will have the same desktop icons, opened applications on one desktop will not be displayed on the others However, if you have added a few virtual desktops, you can move applications from one virtual desktop to another by following the instructions given below:
■Make sure that you are on the desktop screen that has the application that you want to move.
■Ensure that the application is opened and you can access its window.
■Keeping the application’s interface open, click the Task view icon from the taskbar.
