Fix Canon MX926 Error Code B200

I too have encountered this error. I tried the methods previously published but another error (1403 "print head is wrong type") appeared. What follows is a description of how I restored my printer to operation.

START OF PROBLEM: ERROR code B200 appears on my MX926 MFD

1. Implemented already published procedure of power off, open the cartridge cover, power on and close the cover when the print head is half way across its travel to the left.
2. The printer came back on and reported error 1403, wrong type of print head.
3. I removed ALL of the ink cartridges and turned the printer off.
4. Closed the ink cartridge cover.
5. Turned the printer on again with NO ink cartridges installed.
6. Printer reports that it does not recognise the ink cartridges in any of the cartridge slots.
7. Replaced the ink cartridges and closed the cover.
8. Printer display returned to normal ready to use again.
