First and foremost i don't support piracy if you need help making a bootable drive with a ripped iso downloaded from torrent sites and such im not helping you.

Thanks for understanding

1. What is needed to make a Bootable usb?
A 4gb usb flashdrive
A copy of your iso you are going to use
A PC

2. How do i make a bootable usb?
There is 2 ways simple and more advanced (cmd/ command prompt) but to make things easy this will be the simple method

3.Getting Started

Making a bootable usb for linux/w7/w8 os is easy thanks to a program called Universal Usb Installer
Download link( http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ ) it is a safe download but scan it if you

must.
For linux and windows 7/8/8.1 drop down on the bar to select your os windows options are all the way on the bottom of the

list (windows 10 does not work with this other method is needed which is below the page)

step 2. is browse for the for the iso file you downloaded or download the iso using the built in downloader (Linux only)

step 3.Is to select your usb drive, make sure you don't make a mistake selecting it, if unsure what letter your drive is

assigned open computer management (type into search bar) and on the tabs select diskmanagement to show all your

drives
step 4. Format the usb and it should begin creating once done plug into your PC and test boot it, make sure usb are allowed

to boot from on your pc bios should have options to enable or disable it/ If it is a pre-built pc such as gateway/hp bios must

have legacy mode and secured boot disabled to boot from usb
That completes this method now for Windows 10

windows 10 will use rufus download link ( https://rufus.akeo.ie/ ) completly safe aswell

Step1. select your drive on device
step2. select create a bootable disk using and click on the disk icon and find the iso
step3. start the drive process and DO not mess with any othe windows many times the drives didn't complete and wont boot
every settings should be left as is except the ones i specified
STEP4. test the boot drive to make sure it boots if it does congratulations your done

Q&A
why dont you use rufus instead of Universal Usb Installer for w7/w8?
While it works they were never completely functional for me so results may be different for you and i didn't want you to waste time on creating another if it fails

Do i need a 4gb drive?
yes it is very needed once everything is extracted there should barely be any room left on the drive /linux might vary with kobuntu being
the largest if im not mistaking some distros are small as 500mb to 4gb
