Well this topic should guide you to fix game not starting , black screen freeze , game has stopped working , game crashing . These are methods ,not steps to follow in order !
1 - Update your video card to the latest beta drive .
2 - Verify your game cache on steam .
3 - Install vcredist 2010
4 - Run game as administrator
5 - Run game in windowed mode , you can do that by going to Documents > Rockstar games > GTA V ,then right click on settings.xml and edit ( for black screen freeze )
6 - Change direct x value to 1 in settings.xml .
7 - Update your windows to the latest version .
8 - Make an exception for gta v.exe in your antivirus or turn off the antivirus
9 - Delete broken registry files and then replace them .
10 - Start in safe mode .
11 - Install the newest updates for the game (Steam should do it automatically for you)
