Windows 10 supports external fonts as long as they are in the correct format. Most of the font repositories on the internet are usable, just remember to only download files from trusted sources.

There are two main ways to install fonts in Windows 10.

2. Extract the file if it is in .zip or .rar format.
3. Right click the extracted file and select install, or just double click it.

Or:

3. Navigate to C:\Windows\fonts in Windows Explorer.

Whichever method you use to install a font, you will then see a short installing fonts message before being able to use the font. Once installed, you can use it in most areas of Windows.

Uninstall a font from Windows 10
You can also uninstall fonts in Windows should you need to.

1. Navigate to C:\Windows\fonts in Windows Explorer.
