Hollywood Map Guide For Overwatch

Welcome to Hollywood! We aren't here to see the sights though so let's get down to it, this is a hybrid map play style where you will have to capture an objective in order to get a payload moving towards the final destination.

Objective A)Capture the payload.
As the attacking team you have few options for taking this objective over. You can either go through the larger gateway to get to the objective, or through the small building just to the right of the gate. Both of these options can easily be covered by a Widowmaker, Bastion, Torbjorn, or in the case of the small building a Junkrat. There is a path to the left of the gateway, the opposite direction from the objective, that can lead you around the enemy team so you can get in behind them, but that does still require getting through that gateway first. Reinhardt, D Va, and Winston can be good to provide cover for people to move through that way and surprise the enemy though. If you are on defensive, have someone watching that back route with a mic so they can call out if people are using it, that can be the difference between stumping them completely at this objective or getting snuck up on, wiped out, and having to stop them from moving the payload instead.

Objective B)Escort the payload through the sets of Hollywood.
The first stage of this escort mission is going to be through a set for a wild west movie or something, McCree must feel right at home. At this point in the map, whoever controls the rooftops will control the game. so highly mobile heroes who can get up there and remove the enemy from them are very desirable. Hanzo, Genji, Pharah, and Widowmaker are all excellent at either clearing the roofs so you can advance safely, or for harassing the team to stop any advancement, depending on which side of the map you are on.

Objective C)Escort the payload down that last long open stretch.
Once you get through the wild west, there is a very long hallway you have to push this thing down in order to finish the game and win. This can be incredibly difficult to do because right at the end of the hallway is the defense team's spawn point, and they can easily set up at the end of this hallway and hammer on any team caught in the hallway trying to push the payload. Keep an eye open for side ways to get in to the enemies defenses where they aren't looking to clear them out and victory will be yours.
