If you happen to own a smart phone and also are engaged in developing apps for an android platform then you are most certainly familiar with several SDK(software development kit) packages that enable you to develop your apps on a Windows platform. This tutorial will show you how to download and install an SDK package meant for the Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
- ■Open your web browser and type http://developer.samsung.com/home.do into your address bar and hit enter.
■Click on Resources on the top navigation bar.
■On the left hand pane, click on Technical Documentation.
■On the right pane, click on the drop down menu to the far right hand corner and select Android
■Click on Samsung Android USB Driver for Windows.
■Click on the download link and save the compressed file onto your storage device.
■Locate the compressed file and extract it's contents.
■Locate the executable within the extracted folder and run in an elevated command, i.e; Right click>Run as Administrator.
■Click on Next to proceed with installation.
■Choose your Language and Region.
■Once you've verified the installation directory, click on Install.
■Click on Finish to close the installation window.
You have successfully installed Samsung Galaxy USB drivers onto your Windows OS. You may now connect your Samsung Galaxy android device to your system and begin with your development work.
