Apart from wireless internet connectivity there is another form of wireless connectivity in the form of Bluetooth whereby you can communicate with the devices around your environment with ease. Provided you have a Bluetooth module onboard your device or system it will require drivers for optimal operation. Although generic drivers are automatically installed during OS installation, it's highly recommended to source the drivers meant for your module. This tutorial will show you how.

We will be downloading drivers meant for a Dell XPS 15Z bundled with an Intel Centrino 6230 wireless adapter with built in Bluetooth. Since the module is built by Intel, it's a good idea to source the drivers from Intel's support site.

■Open your web browser and type downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=bluetooth into the address bar and hit enter.

■To shortlist your driver search, click on the left drop down menu for the type of download you're looking for, in this case it's for drivers only.
