The issue with insider previews is that they contain experimental/beta/buggy version of codes which often times can and will result in an unstable computing experience. Windows 10 seems to be a little picky with how you leave it on your system but thankfully Microsoft have left an option to prevent Insider Previews from installing. This tutorial will show you how to do so.

■Open "Stat Menu" by clicking the "Start Button" in the lower left corner of the screen or tap the "Windows" key on your keyboard

N.B: If a build is downloading, changing the settings will take effect immediately by stopping download.

    ■In start, type "cleanmgr".

making sure you've selected C: and click on "OK" to proceed.

■Select the check box for "Temporary Windows Installation files". If you'd like you can leave the rest of the check boxes unchecked.

    ■Click on "OK".

    ■Click "Delete Files".

Following the above steps, wait a few minutes and then go back to Windows Update. You'll notice that as your OS searches for new updates, the installation files for new build will not be present in the list. This indicates that you will not receive Insider Previews on your system henceforth.

If you can't locate the Insider Program on the left hand pane then you're not subscribed to it in the first place. You can double check by going into Advanced options within the right hand pane to see this message:
