One of the new perks found on Windows 10's Anniversary update is the inclusion of Microsoft's Ink environment that allows a user to experience their new platform with the aid of a touch pen. If for any reason you'd like to disable the newly added feature, this tutorial will show you how.

■Tap the windows key on your keyboard and type "gpedit".

N.B: If you see two entries for Windows Ink Workspace then you should edit the second one(lower in the order on the pane).

■On the right hand, settings pane, double click on the Allow Windows Ink Workspace entry.

■Restart your system for the changes to take effect.

You should now notice that the Windows Ink Workspace Icon is not available in the system tray area.

Nor will it be seen in the taskbar context menu.

If you've reached this point, then you've successfully disabled Windows Ink Workspace on your OS.
