How To Recruit All Companions In Tyranny

There are currently six companions that you can recruit in Tyranny. However, keep in mind you can only have 3 "active" at a time. Any companions you recruit past this limit of three will wait at your home spire for you and you can swap them in and out as the need arises.

Verse.

Verse is a Scarlet Chorus Soldier and is the first possible companion you encounter. She is found just shortly after your first battle, in Edgering Ruins, fighting some Vendrien Guards. Recruit her by joining her in battle. Verse is a mobile single-target damage dealer who specializes in both ranged and melee attacks. During the final archon talk before your quest to attack the citadel, you may lose access to this companion depending on how you act during this discussion, so it may be a good idea to save before the discussion and reload if things don't go well.

Barik.

Barik is a Disfavored Soldier and is the second companion you can encounter when you first get to the Disfavored camp. After you've spoken to the archons you will be able to recruit him by speaking with Iron Marshall Erenyos. You'll be given the quest to start the battle of Echocall, and Barik will be assigned to help you. Barik himself works as a great tank, and a very solid front liner. Like Verse, depending on how you act during the final talk with the archons you can lose him as a companion.

Lantry.

Lantry is a sage who is being held prisoner in the Scarlet Chorus camp. You'll have to speak with the Fifth Eye to be given a quest to interrogate a prisoner. The prisoner you are interrogating is not Lantry, but he will speak up and offer his services during this. You have two options to recruit him, you can either fight as his champion in the trial, or you can just demand the Scarlet Chorus to give him to you.

Eb.

Eb is the fourth companion that you can recruit, and is originally a member of the Oathbreakers. She can be recruited at the end of the quest assault the citadel by sparing her life. She is a powerful magic user that can be a great edition to any party by standing in the back lines to hurl devastating spells into the enemy ranks.

Siren.

Siren is one of the final two companions that you can recruit later on in the game. You can meet her quite early in the game at the Scarlet Chorus camp, but you won't be able to recruit her until you have taken over your first spire. Once you have your first spire, travel to Lethian's crossing to find and recruit her as one of your companions.

Kills-In-Shadows.

Kills-In-Shadows is a beastwoman that you can recruit into your party. She can be found when she actually leads an ambush on your party after you complete the quest Into the Maelstorm or Dissonance of War, depending on your choices. You'll need to answer her questions correctly, and avoid being rude, in order to convince her to join up with you rather than attack.

Most of these companions will be found normally so aren't too hard to find, but convincing them to sign up with you and in some cases stay with you might be a little tricky. Hopefully this guide helps, and try to save often before these encounters to make sure you do convince them to join you.
