If you are like me and are used to the bass in many gaming headsets or pairs of earbuds, you would be disappointed with the stock settings on the Senheiser HD 598 CS. In my opinion they are very lacking in bass, but this can be fixed with a simple tweak in the windows equalizer settings (Control panel -> Hardware and sound -> Sound -> Speakers -> Enhancements -> Equalizer -> Settings: ...). What I found to be the best settings are the stock settings with "31" almost at the highest and "62" + "125" right between "31" and "250". http://
