Stardew Valley Lumberjack Tips Get the Most out of Pine, Oak, and Maple

The trees that are found everywhere includes Pine, Maple and Oak. You can use these trees for your advantage and to get a quick cash. Below is the guide to all three trees and some tips for effective lumber-jacking:

Guide for Pine Tree:

The Pine tree is the fastest growing tree among the three. Its seeds don’t have much selling value (5g), but you can collect the pine tar from it by fitting a tapper. The pine tree will make tar after every 5 days. And you can sell that tar for 100g. To grow more tree, you need to plant the pine cones.

The best thing to do with the tree is to use it for lumber. Below are the areas where you can find Pine trees:
• You can find them in Cindersnap Forest south of the farm.
• You can find them in the Backwoods north of the farm.
• You can find them in the Mountain in front of the Carpenter’s shop.
• You can find them at Railroad north of the mountain.

You can chop the Oak trees for Wood, Maple seeds and Sap. These are slow growing trees and their seeds don’t have much selling value (5g) but you can get the maple syrup by attaching a trapper and sell it for 200g. They will make syrup after every 7 to 8 days. You can grow more of these by planting maple seeds. The best use of this tree is to collect its sweet nectar. Also, if you shake them during fall, there is a chance that they drop hazelnuts. Below are the places where you can find them:

• Found at the Cindersnap Forest at the south of the farm.
• Found at the Mountain in front of the Carpenter’s Shop.
• Fount at the Bus Stop at the east of the farm.

You can chop the Oak trees for Wood, Acorns and Sap. The seeds of the Oak sells for four times more than the other two trees (20g.) You can also collect its Resin by attaching a trapper to it and sell it for 150g. Oak trees make Resin after every 6 to 7 days. You can grow more Oak trees by planting acorns. The tree is the slowest of all in growth and just because of that, it is very hard to recommend felling this tree to harvest it. You can find it in these places:
• It will be located at Cindersnap Forest to the south of the farm.
• It will be located at Bus Stop to the east of the farm.

Some Important Lumberjack Tips:
• Keep the area around the trees clear of branches and stones etc. to make room for seeds to land.
• Try not to sell, trash or use the seeds for crafting, save them for planting.
• Never stop planting the trees.
• Use winter to layout seeds for next year. This is because the farm will be clear of bushes, grass and other debris.
• Start planting early. Trees are very unpredictable and can take a lot of time to grow. If you are aiming for a large plantation of maple tree for syrup, then it is best to plant seeds in early spring to make sure that you have trees fully grown by the winter.
