Mr. Qi is one of the most mysterious and weird characters that can be found in Stardew Valley. He is the owner of the Casino which can be found in the desert. The entrance of this casino can be found inside Sandy’s shop but be careful as it is guarded by a bouncer who only lets specific people through. To get through him you will need a Club Card. You can talk to Mr. Qi after you gain entrance to the casino but you cannot give him any gifts and cannot increase the status of your relationship with him.
Mr. Qi’s Quests:
There are a couple of quests that Mr. Qi offers. The first one is triggered when you complete all the levels of the mine. He offers you another challenge, to get to the 25th level of the Skull Cavern which is located in the desert. When you complete that quest you get 10,000 gold from Mr. Qi.
The other quest he offers is a lot more elaborate and definitely one of the weirdest available in Stardew Valley. There are two ways to start this quest. You can either find a lost book and get the quest from that or you can inspect the box that is in the bus tunnel. If you place a battery pack inside the box you’ll find a note from Mr. Qi to put a Rainbow Shell in the middle of the train track. After doing this task you’ll be asked to put 10 Beets in Mayor Lewis’ fridge and the last one is to put a Solar Essence inside the skull of the dragon that is located in the desert. After doing all of this you can go home and when you check out the lumber near your house, you’ll find a Club Card through which you can enter the Casino.
Mr. Qi’s Schedule:
You can find Mr. Qi in the Casino from 10:00 am to 11:50 pm. That is the only place and time you are able to interact with him. He never leaves the Casino and you will never see him outside, not even in the festivals.
Shopping from Mr. Qi:
You can buy a lot of decorative stuff from Mr. Qi’s Casino by exchanging your gold into Casino tokens or by winning Casino tokens from the games that are available in the Casino. The games that you can play are Slots or a Stardew variant of Blackjack, known as Calico Jack. You can get:

- Highway 89
- Spires
- Top Hat
- A Rarecrow
- Hardwood Fence
- Magnet
- Warp Totem: Farm
