Fortnite Battle Royale - No Audio in Win 10 Fix

Many players are facing the issue of no sound from Fortnite Battle Royale in their PCs. This has annoyed a lot of gamers and no official solution or patch has been rolled out be Epic. But, there is one potential fix to this problem and it has been tested on Win 10, but may also work on other versions of windows as well. The steps that are listed below shall be enough to fix the issue of no audio in Fortnite Battle Royale in PC. Just make sure to read them carefully and follow each and every step as described. So without further ado, let’s get started:
1.First of all what you need to do is to close Fortnite Battle Royale. So exit the game to the desktop. This is necessary to get this solution to work for Fortnite.

2.Now, you need to go to the speaker setting. To do this, right click on the white speaker at the bottom right corner in the taskbar. Then go to the “Playback Devices.”

3.Once you click on the playback devices option, a window will open. There will be the current audio devices that are attached to your computer. If you have attached a speaker and a headphone, both will be shown there.
4.Now what you need to do is to get the sound on your speakers, right? Well, to whatever device you want to bring the sound to, you need to the right click on that device.

5.Once you right click on your preferred device for sound, different options will come in front of you. What you need to do is to click on “Set as default” button that is on number four.
6.Once you click on the set as default button, you will see that the icon of the device will have a small white and green checkmark appeared. This checkmark shows that this device will now be used as the default playback device of your computer. And this means that the sound of your computer will come out from that device.

7.Now click on apply and close the window. After that, open Fortnite Battle Royale and check out the sound. It should come from the device you have selected.

If you implement on the above-mentioned steps, the problem of no audio will be fixed. If you still see the problem then check the audio on other devices by setting them as default. If you are getting the sound from other devices but not from the device you want, then it may be a hardware issue. Get another unit of that device and you should hear the sound.
