Why? There's a wireless internet adapter already built into the console.

Umm the wii's own wifi is more than adequete. What do you want to do on your wii that the built in wifi adapter won't let you?

I wouldn't waste my money on buying a wireless adapter for a console that already has the feature built in. It's unlikely you'll notice much of a difference as I have my Wii wired through Ethernet, and there is a difference, but unless you're playing something online a lot that is experiencing lag, it wouldn't be worth purchasing.
