Hi all !
I have a Phenom II X3 720BE cpu with Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Rev 2.0 mobo.

I'm running Win7 64-bit Ultimate and i have a few questions about the chipset drivers.

I use AHCI on my HDDs and i was wondering what type of driver do i need for the chipset & ahci ?

I can see in the MB drivers the SouthBridge driver & the AHCI driver but no NorthBridge drivers and also do I need to download the FULL catalyst 10.7 suite and the installer will choose what i need or seperate install files ?

I do NOT have an ATI gpu, i'm using NVIDIA GeForce 250 GTS so i'm really confused ...

please help !

Hi, I was a little confused at first too...

You just need the South Bridge Driver and AHCI Driver from

When there select Motherboard/Integrated Video Drivers and then select the proper OS under Individual Drivers (Motherboard/Chipset).

The south bridge driver package installs the USB filter driver and north bridge filter driver.
