XP Windows Update Problem

I think I've read all the possible solutions on the Microsoft site but mine is not there so here goes:

When I go to the Windows Update site:

1. I am able to scan for updates
2. I am able to add/remove updates

But when it comes down to installing by clicking the "Install Now" button, nothing happens. I've deleted the temp folder, removed the Update Class, deleted the WindowsUpdate folder, and re-registered the dll files mentioned on the Microsoft Support site and tried after each change.

I was previously able to install updates about a week ago after a clean reinstall of the OS but this problem started a couple days ago.

I use a Linksys router with the latest firmware, Kerio Personal Firewall, and McAfee VirusScan 8.0 Pro.

My other computer is a Cray...

Not sure what your problem might be but there is another way to update manually, and you can also save these updates to CD for the next install.
