Cant play after re-loading Doom3

Hi,

I am having trouble re-loading Doom3 after having to do a re-config to my computer after it crashed.D3 ran fine before


I am running it on XP and it worked fine before

this time...it loaded ok however it doesnt play- i get the initial intro screen for a second it get the following error. thanks:


DOOM 3: doom3.exe APPLICATION ERROR

"0x696835ce" referenced memoory at "0x000000049".the memoory could not be "written"

PLEASE HELP...does it mean a driver is missing?

Reinstall it. It sounds like a file could have been corrupted at some point. You might also want to run a memtest to see if your memory is going bad. I had a lot of such errors on my old machine from faulty RAM corrupting data.
