I can't wait any longer for GB (must build new comp next week) and from what I read, I'm not too sure GB is even worth waiting for!

I'm definitely going to order an 845PE board next week, so I'd like to know which is the best of the best??? ...I would prefer built-in FireWire, but it's not mandatory.

I like the Asus p4pe/l I just got. The only downside to it I can see is that it does not support AGP 8x, but at this time that isnt really an issue. Good luck!

Yea, none of the 845 chipsets support AGP 8X, but take a look at the ABIT's IT7-MAX.

Yea, I know that horse has been beat to death, but still, it might matter in 18 months, no?

Yea, could happen. 3GIO (PC-Express) will begin to immerge in mid-2004 amid a market flooded with AGP. It could completely take over in 6 months from being born. Technology is crazy, eh?
