Refurbished means it was already broken and returned. That is why it is cheap. Mine works great and has no problems. I bought this for over 2000 bucks.

You can get an Asus with a core i7 paired with a mobile 5870 for around 1500.00$ new.

Laptops lose value by the day. Never invest in a laptop unless you are going to keep it/upgrade etc..
