BIOS doesn't like PC3500, get PC3200 or PC2700. Name brand stuff.

There are a lot posts on it because everyone is buying it. It doesn't neccessarily mean that it's a bad product. I have one and it has worked great.....not one problem, and havn't been up and running for over a month and havn't even had 1 crash (windows xp pro).

The mainboard itself is good.

It's the part compatibility list that is the kicker. Saying you're getting this mainboard is one thing, but it's pretty secondary to what you're going to be plugging into it.

Like crashman it doesn't like 3500 ram. If you are going to get pc3500 ram make sure you'll be able to return it if you have problems. It's pretty stable on my machine.

I have Corsair 3200, and its rock stable...
I have had NO problems, save my complete lack of sound;
That is most likely a 1d10T error on my part though.
I have several leads to try out once I get home tonight.
I think the new beta bios is solving a lot of problems too...
