Hey all,

I put together a system with a 3.06 P4 and Asus P4PE motherboard. For some odd reason the system randomly reboots. I have been able to run Seti@home for 24 hours straight without a problem. Some times while copying from my Zip or playing a game the system just decides to reboot.

Any ideas on a fix?

Thanks,

John...

P4PE 3.06 P4
1024 DDR 333 (Kingston)
ATI 9700 Pro
Antec 430 True Power
2 WD 40 gig hard drives
1 Asus cdrw
1 Zip
5 case fans, slot fan,

Temp is maxing out at 53c under full load
Volts are steady and with in specs just above 12 for main power (NEVER MOVES)
I am leaning twords the posibility that it is a zip or CDRW problem. Both harddrives were wiped and a fresh copy of XP pro was installed (NTFS) HDs, CDRW and Zip were in my last system and worked fine. All drivers are updated Other then the OS I also installed Norton 2003 virus protection.

What do you think?
