I think one or both of them are b*ggering up my system, with at least a
5 second delay on anything I do It's taken me an age to just register
here and type this YAWN
I've used Adaware, disk clean up, defragged, and ended the javaplay.exe
in task manager endless times but can't find it on the computer except
in Prefetch (??)
Has anyone got a clue, do you think it could be a virus?
Many thanks in advance from one frustrated confused chic

Go to Google and search for it.

Janey, I have seen this javaplay.exe problem on an XP Home computer.
I have performed all of the tasks that you mentioned above, with the
same results.
I am still looking for a way to track down its source to remove it. If
you have had any luck, please pass it on.
Thanks,

spud
