When installing windows 8 my display disappeared

when installing windows 8 my display disappeared my laptop is Dell Latitude XT2 XFR series with 1.6Ghz Core 2 Duo and 5GB Ram and 120 HDD

u need to instal display driver
if have win 7 drivers
right click on display driver
properties
compatibility
run compatibility for windows
choose win 7
ok
run setup file
