Decision decision decision. My 19 CTX monitor needs over $100. to repair it, so I'm going to get a new one. The guy that was going to fix it said he has a Hitachi Superscan Elite 751. He says it's close to two years old, and that he hasn't used it for about 8 months, and before that a 1/2 hour a day for searching. At the time it cost over $800. and he wants $450. for it with a 90 warranty. At a sight I will show says people where buying it for that brand new. hmmm

Anyway I offered him $300. and he will have to ask his wife and I will find out later today if he will accept, or want more.http://www.makeitsimple.com/reviews/hitachi_751/

Another monitor reviewed here is my other option >Iiyama Vision Master Pro 454< I see that going for $420. + $60 shipping. http://www4.tomshardware.com/display/02q1/020319/crt-12.html

What's your two cent, any other thought of a good monitor? I am leaning towards the Iiyama Vision Master Pro 454, because The maker claims a maximum resolution of 1920x1440 at 77 Hz. I'm thinking that should be great for high res games. While the Hitachi Superscan Elite 751 1600x1200 at 75 Hz.

I'd go iiyama, probably because of their customer service. My first iiyama didn't work right out of the box. I called customer service, and the next day I had a new monitor w/home pick-up of the damaged one. I was so, stunned that I bought another iiyama Vision Master Pro 450. Display is flat screen with very nice resolution.

The other monitor may be great, but whoever it was at iiyama that day I really needed help, won my confidence. So, my vote is biased.

The guy wasn't there about the Hitachi Superscan Elite 751, and I kind of change my mind about getting it anyways. For now it looks like I will be getting the Iiyama Vision Master Pro 454, I'll need a little time to get the money, and will continual to look. Thanks for your 2 cents.
