Daily Post, whatever day it is today

I've been working on several projects lately.
Bigaxer, my 2 handed Axe Pally. Finally got him to lvl 66 to use the Oath
Axe, and am seriously impressed. I can kill just about anything, with a
2-5k Zeal :) I love it. However, I need resists badly. I'll probably have
to resort to Smoke Armor, or I might be able to use a Lionheart if I can fit
some resist GC's in. He's got one with 14 Resist all, but I also have a Def
Auras and a Combat Skills GC I'd like to fit in.

WB Druid, finally got him to lvl 24 this morning, and just started Act 5.
Lots of fun so far, but should really kick in when I can use a Steeldriver,
then Ribcracker, Buriza, etc. I'd still like to make him a Beast Axe of
some sort, but doubt I'll get the needed runes again any time soon.

FB/FO Sorc, my primary MF/Countess runner. My goal is to get her to at
least 85. I've also had some fairly good MF luck in recent days:
Nat's Claw
Nat's Armor (alas, only one socket. Will gladly trade for one with 3)
Bonehew
Lidless Wall
Fleshripper (w000t)
439 IK Mauls
252 Aldur's Hats
2 Ariocs
Thunderstrokes
ViperFork
+1 Marrows
Ethereal Gimmers
Hellslayer
Oh, and another white Monarch for if I ever want to make another Spirit (or
someone else does).

Now I have to decide what to do with the Bonehew, the Fleshripper, the
Thunderstrokes, and Nat's set.
Should I drop 2 Shaels in the Bonehew and hand it off to the Druid when he's
older?

I thought about giving the Fleshripper to the Druid, but according to the
Speed Calculator, it would be painfully slow. I guess if I put 2 Shaels in
the Bonehew I could give it to a WW Barb later on, or something.

So....... on to Nat's set (as soon as I get a hat).

What build would it be suitable for? I'm open to any suggestion OTHER than
a PS girl or trapper, I already have those.

And to think, the first and only time I saw BigAxer he was just a lil
punkin!

My, they grow so fast!

Good luck with that Oath--mine is just a pul away.

It's pretty cool when you plant yourself in the middle of the minion packs and
things start falling like leaves. :)

I could be in the market for one of those soon.

IMO, unless you are planning on making Hammerdin next, you should trade
the Combat Skills GC for either a Maras or a whole stack of Resist all
charms, and a perfect Saracens.

Oooh, I could do that?

Hell, I'll throw in a Traps charm too if I can get a Mara's )

short - I could settle for 30 or 40 RA charms too though

Yeah, assuming your Combat skiller is plain (second mod of something
like vita could be worth a lot more) then I think you could potentially
trade it for a Maras in the resist range of 23-26.

Here is one relevant price guide:

SCs with resist all are expensive and not very cost effective.
Plain GCs with 13-14 resist all like the one you have
seem to go for around Pul, so you could potentially get 6-8,
though finding and trading for them would be time consuming.
Also, you really want to max fire and lightning resistance
and care less about cold and poison, so fire and light
res charms with second mods is another way to go. Near
perfect Saracens would go for about a Lem. 15res all jewel
for your hat might cost Pul-Um but you could get a 14 res all
one for Lem or less.

It's a lot less bother to trade in the rpgforums. In any case,
it will go faster if you first trade your item for rune or pgem
currency and then trade currency for other items.

In the RPGForum that I read Ist+Um is about right for the Combat GC and
I've seen 2 different 27% Maras sell for 2 Ist in the last week. So
that was the basis of my 23-26 estimate.

There are bunch of "currency" trades that are considered equal
and can be done most any time in a few minutes:

Ist = 3Um
Um = 2Pul
Pul = 40 Pgem

In the case above though, Pul was quoted as the individual asking
price for the armor but I actually traded 2Um for it
along with a whole bunch of other stuff at a volume discount :)
