GDDR3-GDDR2 backwards compatability

hey there, i was wondering if GDDR3 graphics cards will still work on a motherboard that uses DDR2 memory, not GDDR2, but DDR2.

graphics card memory and computer memory are complete seperate and a computer with sdram could run a graphics card with gddr5.

also just a little FYI you computer wouldnt be running gddr2( Graphical Double Data Rate 2) but DDR2 (Double Data Rate 2) G specifies that its for your graphics card
