I am in the process of building a new computer. I started out by buying parts at a time and this is what i have up to date:
Antec Black Server Case
Pentium 4 2.53 ghz processor 533mhz bus speed
2 X 256 Corsair XMS3500 C2 Memory
PNY GeForce4 Ti4400 128mb Video Card
2 X 80g WD800JB Hard Drives with 8mb cache
420w Turbolink Power Supply
52X24X52 Memorex CD-ReWriter
16X DVD-ROM Drive
Now i had the GA-8INXP board in mind for this computer but after a month and half now it still hasnt shipped because of backorder game etc. And i see the new GA-8SQ800 Ultra 2 that is out. I am wondering if i should cancel my order, wait a couple more weeks or wait till this Friday and hope that the GA-8INXP board ships? If i do wait till the GA-8SQ800 Ultra 2 comes out, where would be a good place to buy it and to know for sure if they have it in stock?
I went ahead and bought a refurbished motherboard and ill wait for the SIS655 boards. That way i wont have to play this game with the granite bay chipset. Im tired of waiting, been two months and i want a system built right now. Wish i could go back in time that way i wouldnt of had to wait this long. Now i can sit back and wait for those SIS Dual DDR400 boards to be reviewed and get them soon as they are available.
