Asus A7V333 + Radeon8500 getting vertical lines

i've a problem and i'm dying here trying to get a solution,
i've seen forums and everything but there is no good.
please help me find a solution, i've seen that MANY people has these problem.

my specs:

AtlhonXP 2100+
Asus A7V333
R8500LE 64DDR
512 DDR 2100
WinXP+p1

my system hangs up and i get vertical lines every time a run a 3d game
and this happens ONLY whit my ati8500, i tried a gforce4 on my asus and
worked just fine, also tried my ati on a soyo and worked fine too.
i changed my psu for a 350w and my 3.3v increased, i used to have 3.28v and now
with the new psu i have 3.35 to 3.40.
it seems to help me on some point, i can now run warcraft3 but after a half hour or more
the system hangs up again.

i tougth it would be power problem, but it seems not to.
please give me a hand.

did you flash to the latest BIOS on the mobo? Have you got the latest drivers on the Vid card?

i'll set the newest bios on my mobo and let you know.
and for the radeon catalysts, i'm able to get a higher score with the 2.5 than the 3.0

yea the 2.5 driver set seems to work forme better as well and I do not get stutters in open gl.

I got that prob with my 9500 pro before I installed the drivers for the card.. once I installed them it was fine.

i don't think it's related to the driver, because i tried both, 2.5 and 3.0 for r8500 and nothing changed.
maybe r8500 catalyst doesn't work well on via kt333?

solved... asus posted a new beta bios yesterday. 1016. that one solved my problem.
