yea so its days b4 the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear sky is comming out and ive heard tat its gonna have dx10 support. I currently have windows xp so i would have to buy vista...which i dont really like. Will there b a dramatic difference between dx9 and dx10? And, will a 3870 handle the game at max settings @ 1680 x 1050 with 2x aa?

There is going to be a pretty large difference between dx9 and dx10 for Stalker CS; although if you've played Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl then DX9 mode Stalker CS will look pretty much like Stalker:SOC with some small improvements.

A 3870 won't handle dx10 max settings, but with the revised engine it might handle dx9 - but really thepinkpanther, there is no way to tell at all until the game is out.
