I am going to get a case with a power supply and wanted to know if the power supply supports standard ATX Motherboards but only names the P4 will it still work with a motherboard that uses an AMD processor. I also needed to know if a case says it fits standard ATX, Xeon, Pentium 4 Motherboards will AMD based ATX Motherboards also fit. Thanks for any help :-)

Started like 98 most motherboard use this standard power connector to the power supply. Also make sure you have a good power supply atleast 350watt because most new video cards require 300watt power supply or better.
And if the cases is new and the motherboard is new most likely they will pair together amd or p4 or not.

It comes with a 430 watt power supply. case + ps = $149.

AMD recommeds that the PS have a Max Continous rating on the various rails as follows:

3.3V should be at least 28A
5V should be at least 30A
12V should be at least 15A

Once you're satisified that it meets those requirements, question the quality of construction and noise level next.
