An even more simple solution: you don't have to play every game at release.

Buy one, get another later.

my biggest beef with the game release splurge is that it comes right after school starts. why not right before summer starts so i have all the free time to play

even if ppl go outside during the summer they will still play games more. I've got exams this year and how will i finish fallout 3, crysis warhead, far cry 2 and some of the other games coming out
