I have a SecuRom problem...I know, SURPRISE! :pfff:
I just bought Turning Point Fall of Liberty (I hear it's not any good, but I only paid $1.50 for it).
When I go to load the game I get a dialog box saying it won't run because I have Alcohol 120% running.
Well the program wasn't running and I have no virtual drives. Anyway I reluctantly deleted Alcohol and cleaned my registry out and I still get the same dialog box....So I uninstalled Turning Point and re-installed it and still get the same dialog even though it is no longer installed.
What can I do to get the game running?
I emailed SecuRom but haven't heard from them yet.
I looked for a "No CD crack" but it envolves emulation which I don't want to bother with.
Any ideas?

btw I'm running other games that use SecuRom and have no problem but they are older versions.

The emulation that the No-DVD involves is contained within the executable itself. It doesn't mean that you will have to set up a VM or whatever so there is nothing for you to bother with here. All it means is that the SecuROM code is not completely extracted from the fixed executable, but rather bypassed using an emulation method.
Either way, it should fix you problem.

Thanks.
Tried it out and it worked.
It's stupid you should even have to go through this just to play a game you legitimately own.
