Oh that made my day. I believe if they had been able to continue the series the plan the entire time was to off the pilot and have river take over. /nerdface

If the Chinese had made this series the lot of them would have been captured after the first episode ... the rest of the episodes would have focussed on the glorious people's navy gunning down "imperial dog" reavers.
