Hi, got win XP pro with Mozilla web-browser and a renamed webcheck.dll(everything to avoid spys out there) and use to scan my system frequently for viruses, trojans, spyware and so on. Now, got this really annoying non-detectable searchbar-spywareshit down beside the clock and i can't find the sourcefiles for deleting this. Have tried everything in scanning without no result. Any hints someone.
Run msconfig from start run menu. Then check the startup tab and look for the startup of that spyware (check the name of it) and then look at the command path. You'll know where it resides from there and delete it manually. Also uncheck it from msconfig. It will not load during the next boot up.

I got a similar program that putted an extra search bar under IE (although I use Firefox). It was called SpiderSearch. So I did a search for "spidersearch" in the registry and deleted every key that had that string in it. The toolbar is gone. I'm pretty sure there's a file somewhere to delete, but I can't find it.
