For some reason my copy of Crysis Warhead displays left of center on my monitor even when the monitor centers it as far right as possible. anybody else seeing this? Otherwise it seems to run perfectly. Monitor is a 28" Viewsonic.

Strangely enough, this has happened to me a few times aswell. My monitor is the acer AL2216W. It was pretty random for me, but i found that fiddling around with the auto position a few times got it positioned properly.

I have seen problems with centering when using DVI connections. have you tried using a normal VGA connection? (just as a test)
