ASUS A7N8X is the recommended MOBO & the fastest out there right now. I've built both the A7N8X & the A7V8X (KT400 which I'm running). I like ASUS boards & use them both. I like ASUS a lot myself.

Your vid card will work on either.

If you can swing it, I'd go with the XP2400 to get the T-Bread B core. It OC's real sweet if your into OCing.

I'm still learning & having fun doing it!! Trouble comes with the things you forget or overlook along the way that make it not so fun!!

If you need lots of features and outstanding onboard audio, then buy ASUS A7N8X Deluxe.

If you need outstanding onboard audio and need only very much required features, then buy Leadtek K7NCR18D Pro.

If you don't care about onboard audio and features, then buy MSI K7N2-L

I'd also recommend the Asus (backed by countless reviews) but I'm running a GA7VRXP without any problems (can't use a 333FSB processor though).

If you're on a budget, then you want some good, but cheap ram. I'd go for Kingston, Crucial, Corsair value select, Mushkin, or PNY, Pc-2700 and at least 256mb per stick. If you're doing some games, but you don't need ultra high end, then i'd go for a Geforce4 ti4200, 64mb or 128mb. There's like hundreds of versions out there now, and they go for about $120-160.

Instead of Rdram, why not just merge 4 Sdram channels...
