Ok this might sound silly. Im need to buy a laptop for uni work. However, i would probably like to game on it. If i do it will just be a few games of Dawn of War online.
Integrated cards reduce the price massively so i was just wondering if Dawn of War would run well on an integrated card, probably the 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450.
TBH I think you may struggle mate, the min specs below say x1800 or 7800 to run and from the link below your integrated card falls below that.
Worth a try though
graphics minimum spec: Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800(R) or better or ATI Radeon X1800(R) or better
Im pretty sure I used to run Dawn of war just fine on an old mx4000 with a AMD 1800 processor. If it wasnt that rig it would have been the next one which was a AMD2800+ and a FX5200 (although im fairly certain I was running it on the earlier rig as well).
That was the original dawn of war though, by time I got the expansions I was running a far better machine. That said the graphics didnt improve much with expansions, and they arent the most demanding in the world.
edit:
Doh just realised Ive replied to an old thread thats been dug up...
