would a MB post with out a CPU??

Im trying to figure out if the MB I have still works.
2. would It post w/o any RAM??

As big as a geek I may be at times, I still remember one important fact:
YOUR COMPUTER DOES NOT LOVE YOU
But at the same time your PC wont call you, not say anyting, then hang up.

I'm pretty sure there's no way anything can happen if you don't have any CPU or memory. The BIOS will beep at you through the speaker, but nothing else. The number and cadence of the beeps indicates what the problem is, e.g. no CPU, no mem, no vid, etc. You can look up beep codes for your BIOS on the internet if you want to know them...

The MB will not post without CPU.
