I'll be buying a A7N8X Deluxe and I hear Dual channel memmory will increase performance. I'd like to buy :

Corsair CMX256A-3200C2PT 256MB DDR400 PC3200
32Mx64 184 DIMM Cas2 Memory w/Silver Heat Spreader Retail (believe this is the good stuff)

However, they also have the "Twin Sticks" Model. Which appears to be the same as above except they give you two in the package instead making you buy them separately. I think I must be missing something here because it is significantly more than buying them separate.

Price for a set of Twin sticks? $214

the difference is that the twin pack is part of the xms series or better known as the extreme memory series. the xms series can theoreticaly run with greater stability while overclocking. if you plan to oc the board the added cost might be worth the investment. the xms series is the same type of memory used in the benchmarks by thg.
