After being called a troll and worse by your ilk. After being called a Republican by Democrats and a Democrat by Republicans I am offically CPU non-partisan. That's right I'm an AMD head now too. Just ordered a shiny new 1700+ ddr that should be here in a few days. I'm gonna put it right by the p4 1.3G rd after I rub the two together. They are gonna be best friends. Hopefully they will mate and have darling zebra striped mixed interacial mutant babies. I'm gonna leave em together at night alone in the dark and tell em "don't do anything I wouldn't do".

Is sacrificing a Intel286 also sufficient?

Not that I am anti-Intel, I only prefer AMD.

I was looking at best bang for the buck. I'm getting a bare bones kit with no software so no cash goes to M$. I bought the p4 to do mpeg2 to 4 conversions and at the time it was the fastest you could get to do this. I can't wait to fire up my first amd!!

1. AMD has(d) lower prices.
2. They perform better (they did when I bought it, now the difference is closer)
3. The multiplier can be unlocked.

Or how about I end all of this. Ok here's the deal. I'm gonna fly off into space with Thermonuclear missiles strapped to my rocket booster and then when I clear the gravitational field, I'll fire them all and blow everything to itty bitty pieces. Maybe keep one so that I can clear a landing spot on an alien planet.
