Hi all,
I have 3 HDD's in my PC. I have a simple question, does it make any significant difference in performance to install games on other HDD then on the HDD which has OS installed considering both Harddisks have same specs and performance? Well i have 4 Gigs of Corsair XMS2DHX in my pc and a 64bit OS to read all the memory so i don't think there will be lot of file access from HDD during same maps or levels, maybe in games that have lots of loading screens like in Sims 2, Oblivion etc but i may be wrong.
Thanks for any comments.

Regards,

I don't believe it makes a difference unless the other hard drive is significantly faster (i.e. 10,000 rpm hard drive).

I typically partition the OS hard drive. 20GB for the OS (Win XP) and programs. The remaining partition is for storage including games.

I set the Page/Swap file (4GB) on to a seperate physical hard drive.
